Your vote matters! 2026 is a major statewide election year, meaning New Yorkers will head to the polls in June to choose candidates for state and local offices, including Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State Senate, and State Assembly.

Important Dates:
- June 8 | Change of address deadline.
- June 13 | Last day to register to vote.
- June 13 – June 21 | Early voting
- June 22 | Last day to apply in person for an absentee or early mail ballot.
- No later than June 23 | Put your ballot in the mail, ensuring it receives a postmark.
- No later than June 23 at 9 pm | Drop off your ballot at your county Board of Elections Office.
- June 23 by 9 pm | Drop off your ballot at an election day poll site.
