Infants + Toddlers

The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan cares deeply about children and families and offers quality classes and programs led by a strong staff with vast knowledge of early childhood education and progressive learning experiences.

Additionally, the JCC is a nonprofit organization, so when a family takes classes here, they’re also supporting community programs on the Upper West Side and providing memorable experiences for all ages. At the JCC, you’ll find a wide array of developmentally appropriate, fun, and engaging classes for babies and toddlers.

Preparing to Parent

Led by our partners at Cooper Parenting, this program is designed to equip you with the essential tools and knowledge for the exciting journey ahead. Intended for expectant parents, typically in their second or third trimester, it also welcomes partner attendance.

New Moms Support Group

Led by a child development expert from Cooper Parenting, this group offers practical tips on navigating the early months of parenthood, answering questions, and providing guidance on many topics while fostering a community atmosphere for new moms and babies to connect, bond, and build new friendships. Sessions are filled with strategies, solutions, and answers to your most important questions about newborn parenting.

What I Wish I Knew

In this parenting series, we discuss what we wish we had known before the earliest stages of parenthood. Each event offers a specific topic of interest, with expert guest speakers sharing knowledge and facilitating discussions.

Pre-Nursery Program

Toddler Playgroup takes place with a parent/caregiver to introduce toddlers to a classroom environment with a grown-up by their side! Children build independence as they explore our child-centered curriculum through creative play, circle time, movement, stories, and art.
